CI Digital sets cookies when you visit our applications. You can choose to change these settings to your own preferences. If you change your cookie settings, you need to save your new choices.

We use cookies to store information about how you use the CI Digital applications such as the pages you visit. We use cookies to:

  • record the notifications you’ve seen so we do not show them again
  • measure how you use the website so it can be updated and improved based on your activity

Our Cookie message

You will see a message about cookies when you first visit the CI Digital log in page. We’ll store a cookie so that your computer knows you’ve seen it and knows not to show it next time. Our global announcement message

You may see a global announcement message when we have important information to share with you. If you click the "hide message" link next to this global announcement message then we'll store a cookie so that your browser knows you've seen it. This cookie will expire after twenty four hours so that we can ensure you are always receiving the latest updates.

We use Google Analytics software to collect information about how you use the CI Digital systems. We do this to help make sure the site is meeting the needs of its users and to help us make improvements.

  • how you got to the site
  • what you click on while you’re visiting the site.

Cookies that help with our communications and marketing

Some CI Digital pages may link to content from other sites, like legislation.gov.uk which may set their own cookies. These sites are sometimes called ‘third party’ services. This tells us how many people are seeing the content and whether it’s useful. In addition, if you share a link to a CI Digital page, the service you share it on (for example, Facebook) may set a cookie. We have no control over cookies set on other websites - you can turn them off, but not through us.
